Prayer of Protection for Self, Family or Friends

V. Our help is in the name ✝ of the Lord.

R. Who has made heaven and earth.

V. The Lord be with you.

R. And with your spirit.

"I sign N., with the sign of the cross ✝, seal and cover me with the blood of Jesus and surround me with God's glory light and presence so nothing can get through to hurt me in Jesus' name. Amen."

When entering a Place

In Jesus ✝ name, I cover myself and this place with the blood of Jesus. I bind up every demon in here, and I ask for God's holy and powerful angels to protect me.

Before Sleep

In Jesus ✝ name, I cover myself and all my property with the blood of Jesus. I take authority over all demons of the night, bad dreams, nightmares, and lascivious dreams, and anyone or anything trying to get into my dreams, and I command them to stay away. I ask for God's holy and powerful angels to protect me, my property, and all my love ones as I sleep, through the night and the day. I ask for a fiery wall of protection around me of the Lord.

Family Prayers

These prayers are highly recommended whenever a house is blessed or liberated. It is a sign of trust in God as well as a prayer for blessing and protection. They are to be prayed with faith by members of the family or the household.

Act of Consecration to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, I consecrate myself (and my whole family to you). I consecrate to you: my very being and all my life. All that I am. All that I have and all that I love. To you I give our bodies, my heart and my soul. To you I dedicate my home and my country. Mindful of this consecration, I now promise you to live the Christian way by the practice of Christian virtues, without regard for human respect. O most Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, accept my humble confidence and this Act of Consecration by which I entrust myself and our family to you. In you, I put all our hope and I shall never be confounded.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, be our salvation.

Prayer for Healing

Heal, my Lord Jesus, those intimate wounds that cause me physical illness. (3x) I offer you my heart. Accept it, Lord, purify it and give me the sentiments of your Divine Heart.

Help me to be meek and humble.

Heal me, O Lord, from the pain caused by the death of my loved ones, which is oppressing me. Grant me to regain peace and joy in the knowledge that you are the Resurrection and the Life. Make me an authentic witness to your Resurrection, your victory over sin and death, your living presence among all men. Amen.

Prayer to Mary, Undoer of Knots

Virgin Mary, Mother of fair love,
Mother who never refuses
to come to the aid of a child in need,
Mother whose hands never cease
to serve your beloved children
because they are moved
by the divine love and immense mercy
that exists in your heart,
cast your compassionate eyes upon me
and see the snarl of knots that exist in my life.
You know very well how desperate I am,
my pain and how I am bound by these knots.
Mary, Mother to whom God
entrusted the undoing of the knots
in the lives of his children,
No one, not even the evil one himself,
can take it away from your precious care.
In your hands there is no knot that cannot be undone.
Powerful Mother,
by your grace and intercessory power
with Your Son and My Liberator, Jesus,
take into your hands today every knot in my life.

Every knot that bounds me to the Devil
Every knot that ties me habitually to sin and vice
Every knot in my intellect and will,
Every knot that enslaves my emotions,
passions, desires, and relationships
Every knot in my body, mind, and spirit
that prevents me from loving God with my whole being
Every knot that prevents me from loving others the way
God wants me to

Prayer of Married Couples

Lord Jesus Christ, by Your presence You blessed the wedding in Cana and showed us that You are the true priest of mystical and pure marriage. We thank You for the day on which by Your heavenly blessing You joined us in the sacrament of marriage. Lord continue to bless and enrich our marriage in love companionship, mutual support, oneness of heart and progress in faith and life. Protect our Holy wedlock from sin, evil and danger. Nurture between us the spirit of understanding, the spirit of forgiveness and the spirit of peace that no resentment, quarrel or other problem may cause us to stumble and fall. Grant us to see our own faults and not to judge each other. Keep our bond of love always new. Gladden our lives with the joys of marriage, that with one heart we may praise and glorify You. Amen.

Parents' Prayer for Their Children

O God, our heavenly Father, who loves mankind and are a most merciful and compassionate God, have mercy upon Your servant, NN., for whom I humbly pray to You to care for and protect. O God, be his/her guide and guardian in all his/her endeavors, lead him/her in the path of Your truth, and draw him/her nearer to You, so that he/she may lead a godly and righteous life in Your love as he/she does Your will in all things. Give him/her Your grace, and mercy so that he/she may be patient, hardworking, tireless, devout and charitable. Defend him/her against the assaults of the enemy, and grant him/her wisdom and strength to resist all temptation and corruption, and direct him/her in the way of Salvation, through the goodness of Your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, and the prayers of His Holy Mother and the blessed saints. Amen.
