To you, O Blessed Joseph, we take refuge in our affliction, having implored the help of your Holy Spouse. We beg you also to take us under your protection; we beseech you to succour us in our need.
Keep us, O watchful guardian, from all error and corruption. Aid us in our struggle against the power of darkness, as you once rescued the child Jesus from a great peril of His life, so now defend God’s Holy Church from the snares of the enemy. Under your protection may we live a holy life, die a happy death, and obtain everlasting bliss in heaven.
