Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy defines what is and is not permitted when using Agnioz. It applies to all users, including members, officers, coordinators, parish admins, and priests. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.
Permitted Use
Agnioz is designed and intended for:
- Parish and ministry management, including scheduling, attendance, and assignments.
- Ministry member coordination and communication.
- Announcements and internal parish communications.
- Spiritual growth features such as prayer tracking and formation tools.
- Secure management of ministry applications and records.
- File sharing and document collaboration within a ministry or parish context.
Prohibited Use
You may not use Agnioz for any of the following:
- Illegal activity: Any activity that violates local, national, or international law, including fraud, harassment, defamation, or distribution of illegal content.
- Harassment and abuse: Harassing, threatening, bullying, or abusing any user or third party through the platform.
- Spam: Sending unsolicited bulk messages, promotional emails, or repetitive communications to users who have not requested them.
- Unauthorized access: Attempting to access accounts, data, systems, or areas of the platform you are not authorized to use.
- Data scraping and harvesting: Automated extraction of member data, contact information, or any other platform content without authorization.
- Security attacks: Attempting to disrupt, disable, or compromise platform security, including through denial of service attacks, injection attacks, or vulnerability exploitation.
- Misuse of parish data: Using member data accessed through the platform for purposes other than authorized parish or ministry management.
- Uploading malware: Uploading or distributing malicious code, viruses, ransomware, spyware, or any harmful software.
- Misrepresentation and impersonation: Falsely representing yourself as another person, parish, organization, or Church authority.
- Unauthorized commercial solicitation: Promoting commercial products, services, or fundraising without explicit authorization from the parish administrator.
- Child exploitation: Any content or behavior that exploits or harms minors. See our Child Safety Policy.
Enforcement
Violations of this policy are addressed according to severity. Our general enforcement approach is:
- Warning: A formal notice that the behavior violates this policy and must stop immediately.
- Content removal: Offending content is removed from the platform.
- Account restriction: Limited or suspended access to platform features pending review.
- Parish admin notification: The relevant parish administrator is notified of the violation.
- Permanent ban: Severe or repeated violations will result in permanent removal from the platform. Law enforcement will be notified where required by law.
We reserve the right to skip steps for severe violations, including child safety violations, security attacks, or illegal activity.
